Zim needs young President - Analyst

Political analyst Liberty Bhebhe has said Zimbabwe needs a young president who can understand the new dynamics of the 21 st century to stir the country into economic boom in accordance with the detects of the modern trends of development.

"Zimbabwe needs a younger president," he said.

"One who understands the dynamics of a 21st century global economy. One who understands the impact of slow internet connections to modern day business transactions. One who understands that investing in women and youth is an important foundation to the future of a globally competitive economy. The dung beetle mentality being used by some of our leaders will not take us anywhere."

Bhebhe's remarks come in the wake of Presuident Robert Mugabe of Zanu PF having been on the helm since independence in 1980 to date amid concerns that his misrule has destroyed the economy of the country.
