The MDC-T senior official Job Sikhala has urged Zimbabwean citizens to stop fighting over prophecy made by local prophets Walter Magaya and Emmanuel Makandiwa  and the Nigerian prophet TB Joshua concerning Zimbabwe.

"There is no reason at all for Zimbabweans to fight and insult each other over the New Year prophecy of TB Joshua that there will be chaos in one of the Southern African nations after the demise of one of its leaders. In one of the stories carried out today by the NewsDay people are throwing allegations and counter allegations against each other," said Sikhala.

"The insults clearly shows that if some of the people in disagreement there meet, there is a possibility of fist fighting."

"I honestly find no reason to fight over a prophecy that has not pointed directly to who the victim of the prophecy will be. There are a number of leaders besides our own who are not in good health."

He said Edgar Lungu of Zambia has been elected sick and was admitted in a South Africa hospital for over a month after his election.

"Eduardo Dos Santos has long been speculated that he is not feeling well. Our people have suffered so much that many people are wishing that the prophecy must be for us. But that's not how God works," said Sikhala.

"What I just know is that the man TB Joshua does not vain prophecies. They always come to pass. Just like everyone, I will also follow keenly the destination of this prophecy. He timetabled it between February and April. It's not very far. Let's wait and see."
