Unscrupulous land barons continue to allocated people land at wet lands

Unscrupulous land barons are reportedly allocating land to some residents close to the Epworth Dam in Harare amid concerns that the residents were causing dam siltation at the timer when government is seized with efforts to desilt dams as a way of conserving water.

Author Manyame the Zinwa's catchment area manager for the area has condemned the behaviour as detrimental to the water conservative efforts and even to the livelihood of the community which will have ton struggle to get water due to early drying of the water source.
