Human Rights and opposition political activists have organised a prayer meeting for the democracy activist and journalist Itai Dzamara who was abducted on March 9 and to date he has not been found.
The MDC-T senior member Job Sikhala revealed that the prayer meeting will be held at the Zimbabwe Grounds on June 14.
"This coming Sunday, the 14th of June is the great day of all Zimbabweans of all walks of life who shall gather in their tens of thousands for the Itai Dzamara National Prayer at the Zimbabwe Grounds organized by churches and civic society organizations in Zimbabwe," said Sikhala.
"The Prayer gathering shall be graced by different church organisations, all civic society organisations in Zimbabwe, all political leaders in Zimbabwe and all diplomats Africa and continental based in Zimbabwe."
He said the organizers of the event have so far obtained 95% confirmation attendance by diplomats based in Zimbabwe, all political leaders in the country except for David Coltart whom they said was not returning his calls for attendance confirmation as he has a story to share with the world over the abduction and disappearance of his Election Agent Nabanyana in 2002 Presidential Elections up to the present day.
"Thank you organizers of this event. We shall attend in our thousands. We urge our colleagues in UK and SA to also hold the Itai Dzamara National Prayer on the day in question," said Sikhala.
"May God bless you. Lets meet on the day in question in our thousands on the day in question!!!"
