Where we are coming from as a Nation and Situation Zimbabwe Is In Today?

When you mention Zimbabwe, all the time what comes into the minds of the people is plenty of fresh waters, Victoria Falls, sunshine, fear, uncertainity and corruption. Zimbabweans are going through harsh economical conditions. Our countrymen thrive by all means to make a living. Two weeks ago, I was touched on how an 80 year old woman vendor was mishandled by municipality police in Bulawayo and also general across the country. Who made vendors to mushroom everywhere, the environment of no jobs ? Vending is the only means of survival on our people. We have 90% Universities and College graduates who haven't yet tasted the employment sector since the time they finished school. Making a living in Zimbabwe is thorn in a flesh. The most affected is the youth, majority of us we have nothing to write about; most young men can't marry because they don't have any means of making a living and you try all the entrepreneurial ways the environment doesn't support.
We have brilliant brains , highest rate of literacy in Africa and this will be a setting stone as new innovations will be birthed in our land and achours progress of our beloved country and environment is not permitting. Most of our brilliant people are helping other countries to develop. Poverty is number one enemy the country is facing. How many are eating a descent meal a day among our countrymen? A citizen with full stomach has a health mind and can concerate on developing unlike the citizen with empty stomach is always murmuring and no joy seeking a better environment of joy. Our fellow countrymen have crossed borders seeking better opportunities/greener pastures, some were eaten by crocodiles trying crossing Limpopo river and majority are living in those countries as illegal immigrants where they are treated as third class citizens. We have been reduced into destitutes.
We need policies which promotes betterment of our people not to favor a few a elite. Voicing for betterment of our people it's not a security threat. We have Pastor Evan Mawarire, he stood up to voice his concern over the betterment of our people. He is not a security threat but a beloved son of the soil like you and I. The likes of Strive Masiiwa, the econet guru, Mthuli Ncube and other guys we need them back home for betterment of our country. We can't watch other countries milking our technocrats. Attitude dictates our response to the present and determines the quality of our future Zimbabwe. If we do not control our attitude it will control us because attitudes creates our nation and designs our destiny. John F kenedy - he felt that he had to do something to help the poor and disadvantaged in his country and abroad. He inspired the nation to take care of those who were less fortunate, exemplified by his statement," Ask not what your country can do for you, but what can you do for your countrymen." Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu, whom the world come to know as Mother Teresa was born in Skopje Macedonia.
From the time she was a girl, she felt her life's purpose was to serve God full-time. When she was eighteen, she became a nun and went to taught in a catholic high school for many years. During this time she witnessed the life of poverty and sickness that many people in India were leading. Her life's purpose and passion crystallized as she felt called by God to help the "poorest of the poor" and devoted herself to bring hope, dignity, healing and education to the needy in Calcutta, those whom other people have dismissed as being either beyond help or not worthy. If you want to be a leader, then as Mother Teresa said," Do not wait for other leaders, do it alone, person to person." When you have a passion and purpose, you must act on it, even if you're the only one who believes in it at the time. What have you done as a cabinet minister of Zimbabwe? Where you champion policies which can bring happiness and smiles on the faces of our countrymen ? Good policies creates environment which can birth better living standards. The Zimbabwe environment had created room for corruption , abnormal taxes, illegal trading of money, poverty, no development.
Corruption kills the image and destiny of the nation. Lets have citizens who have the heart for national economical rebuilding. The biblical Nehemiah was Jewish exile who was serving as cup bearer to the Persian King Artaxers his purpose was the rebuilding of the wall of Jerusalem. Ask yourself are you a builder of our nation or you are there to destroy. We are facing institutional abuse bit in private sector and misuse of fund in government coffers on personal gain. When it comes to organisations that uphold traffic safety or inspire confidence in the law most motorists in Zimbabwe won't be quick to mention the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP). That's probably because they are a major source of pain and frustration for motorists through their countless roadblocks which are also hives of corruption. There can be no justification whatsoever of having three or more police checkpoints on a stretch that is barely 100km long, and the question many have asked is: Is there a need for so many roadblocks.I hate to see our continent falling apart. Lets take out systems which are creating barriers of progress of our country. Remove customs duties in our borders which are causing our people to suffer as they pay all the money they have on customs duties. Another issue to get a business permit that's another story of bribery and corruption issues on and on; the system working against our progress. This has been going for many years .
I believe in unity and oneness. If you don't honor unity you are an enemy of progress in any society. Progress is a good legacy or inheritance we should build for our future generation. The tomorrow is in our youth. Church leaders you have a role to play in Nation Building to be the voice of God like Nathan ,Elijah ,Moses etc. First life starts spiritual and manifest physical. In life we have times and they period called season.Season has its own atmosphere but it can be infiltrated if not properly checked spiritual.Seasons are determined in spiritual realm . The church leaders should be apolitical not to have sides. Churches i'ts time to pray for our beloved nation. Let's remain united and be peace loving citizens. Our youths never kill your destiny by being used in dirty politics but be open mind and think of tomorow.
We know the situation we are as a nation. Our beloved citizens let us be calm and remain peaceful because Zimbabwe is for us all whether you are in Zanu Pf ,MDC ,all political parties ,elders and youth . Our leadership consider love to your family ,your friends, your neigbhours and fellow countrymen.Lets value and respect the rights of ownership of our country. Every citizen should have country ownership at heart. Let's value human dignity and thrive to build our young ones future.I'ts our right as citicens to be protected by all arms of security sectors in the country .
Peace and unity is our bread my fellow countrymen. All we want is betterment and legacy of our country. In nation building ,we need to blend elders and youth and thrive to implement all our policies in holistical manner.
Shalom
