Regime Change Agents exposed
18 Aug 2015 at 08:06hrs | Views
Regime change agents have been exposed after Last Maengahama, the former Director of the western sponsored controversial civic entity, Democratic Councils Forum, was fingered for violating importation laws.
The wind-up shortwave radio sets, which were confiscated from the non-governmental organisation that he used to work for, were smuggled into the country so that they could be used for the nefarious regime charge agenda in Zimbabwe.
The gadgets on the epi-centre of controversy do not have any traceable record of how they landed into the country, which casts great suspicions on the role played by this dubious organisation in the country.
However, some reports which are yet to be confirmed indicate that, these radios were channeled into the country through some western embassies, possibly through the abuse of diplomatic bags, which are working in cahoots with such organisations to over throw the government by unconstitutional means.
If it is proven that Maengahama committed a crime, he should be charged accordingly as per the laws. If he is innocent, he should be cleared. His organization is on record for blaming the national institutions for an acute break-down of the rule of law, when in actual fact he is the culprit that leads in breaking the laws of the country.
A good citizen is expected to be a responsible law abiding person that respects the laws at all costs.
If ever diplomatic bags are abused by members of the diplomatic corp that way, they are urged to desist from such indecorous behaviour that is incompatible with their diplomatic statuses as such behaviours sours relations with the host country. They also run the risk of being declared persona non grata for such ill behaviours.
