Andile Mngxitama's article totally incorrect and misleading

Dear Sir/Madam,
I refer to an online article published on Bulawayo24.com on 12 August by Andile Mngxitama titled "Anti-Zuma faction of the ruling party responsible for main losses suffered by the ANC." The information that has been published is totally incorrect and misleading. I would like to point out a few errors:
"On the contrary, evidence shows that the pro-Zuma provinces have done well in the election. If the so called premier league was to be used as a yardstick, then a different truth emerges. Mpumalanga, Free State and the Northwest registered no losses."
This is incorrect and very far from the truth. Please see figures below that come directly from the Independent Electoral Commission's website:
Mpumalanga
2011 Result: ANC = 78.90%
2016 Result: ANC = 71.03%
(ANC lost 7.87% support)
Free State
2011 Result: ANC = 71.74%
2016 Result: ANC = 62.41%
(ANC lost 9.33% support)
North West
2011 Result: ANC = 74.99%
2016 Result: ANC = 59.04%
(ANC lost 15.95% support!)
I now refer to another paragraph in this article which states the following: "The province that embarrassingly suffered the most losses for the ruling party is Gauteng. This means that the call for the removal of the provincial chairperson Mr. Paul Mashatile and his cohort of leadership is the most justifiable decision."
Again, this is not correct and it is irresponsible reporting that seeks to mislead people.
Gauteng
2011 Result: ANC = 60.21%
2016 Result: ANC = 46.39%
(ANC lost 13.82% support)
When you look at these figures, it is clear that the loss of support was across all but one province, KwaZulu-Natal, where the ANC only increased its support by around 1% and it is clear that the North West actually suffered a greater loss in support than Gauteng did.
The author has obviously not looked at facts and figures. Further to this, leaders within the ANC are actually acknowledging that their support declined not only in the metropolitan areas, but also in the rural areas which were previous ANC strongholds.
It would be great if a correction could be published.
Yours faithfully,
