An open letter to Saviour Kasukuwere

Godwin Gomwe is the former Zanu PF Harare youth league leader, who was once feared and reportedly instrumental in the dramatic downfall of former Vice-President Joice Mujuru and several other top officials perceived to be her allies. He was reportedly once very close to the 'centre of power' Grace Mugabe.

To Cde Kasukuwere:

There is nothing hidden about how in 2015 when you were appointed to your position as NPC you started building the groundwork for your G40, while you were lying that you were supporting the president and mother (Grace Mugabe). You took the opportunity to use their names because it would be easy for to make the people believe what you were saying. However, some people were quick to realise that you were falsely using father and mother (the Mugabes) and that is why you have so much resistance in the provinces.

That is why you thought that firing people would scare them into listening to you as if you were being sent by mother and father while you were only looking out for your G40 team's interests.

The speed in which you disrupted the party leadership from the top to the bottom, including the war veterans, made the people lose confidence in you.

NPC, there is no one who doesn't know that all the chairmen you recommended in the provinces who were not voted for, are owned by you. They are not the president, mother or Zanu PF's chairpersons because there is no chairperson that the president or mother told you to appoint in particular provinces. You were the one who appointed these people using the First Lady's name to make your actions seem genuine.

There is no one who doesn't know that you have your own agenda to become president in 2023 and that is why you are building your structures from the district and upwards because those are the people you are going to use at congress to support you.

There is no one who doesn't know that the stands you are giving to the youth in the provinces are a way to build your ground and everyone knows that the youth will destroy you if now well managed.

There is no one who doesn't know that you are chasing people from meetings so Mrs Mujuru can gain ground with which to fight Zanu Pf in 2018.

What we know from our party rules is that the Commissar's work is to mobile people to join Zanu PF so that they can vote in large numbers but once you came in Mr Kasukuwere, you are not doing your job very well. You should let the Vice Chairman and Secretary for Security to mobilise and organise people so that you wouldn't be involved in what is not yours NPC.

We can see that you being NPC of the party is not going to help Zanu PF win in 2018 at all because giving away stands now is what you should have done before instead of destroying people's homes.

Now we are asking the party's first secretary who happens to be Mugabe to intervene and remove the failed NPC. We cannot destroy the people's party for the sake of one person or five.
