Appealing for university funding

17 Apr 2014 at 07:16hrs | Views
How are you everybody, I am writing this to appeal for sponsorship in my quest to start my course of Business Administration at COVENTRY UNIVERSITY in the United Kingdom .

I was offered a place to start my studies in September 2014, but I don't have enough funding that will see me sailing through the three year long program. By now I must have started to process my visa application but because of lack of funding I am not yet.

Below is a brief explanation of why I would like to do the course, where I am coming from and my future goals and what interest me in doing the course.

I attended my secondary school at RUSVINGO SECONDARY SCHOOL, in SACHURU under KADOMA district. I went on to my advanced level at NEUSO SECONDARY SCHOOL in SANYATHI under KADOMA district.

These are C class schools; it was not a smooth ride. At RUSVINGO most of the times we used to learn under the trees and writing on our laps, that was 2002 to 2005. It was very hard and I would like one day to go back and revive marginalized schools in the country. I have come to the realization that sometimes there are organizations that want to help poor communities but they don't really understand what will be going on the ground. They will say they want to sponsor exceptionally good underprivileged students. Not realizing that there are circumstances that no matter how intelligent you are you won't score to their desired level. And you will realize that the already advantaged will be the ones who would rise and rise and the poor will remain on the background and wallow in poverty.

The main reason why I would like to study Business Administration dates back to my childhood it has been my passion to become one of the successful renowned business executives in the world emerging from the deep marginalized rural areas of SACHURU .

I realized it from my childhood that I had strong leadership traits I was born with. I found myself assuming leadership roles at school I was prefect and at one instant I became the school head boy

With this my passion and inborn talent to lead I have taken it upon myself to actually realize my full potential by acquiring the accredited qualifications that will give corporations governments and the general public good faith and trust to vest upon me great responsibilities to be at the helm of their complex organizations and to represent their interests.

What interest me more in taking up this degree program is the idea that it will give me the opportunity to interact with the corporate world where I will be dealing with employees, employers, the general public and more interestingly in some circumstances you will be forced to take radical decisions that would sometimes be against the owners of businesses for the success of the business organization that you will be leading.

When I finish this course I would like to give back my attained knowledge to the business community. I would like also to transform companies which are now being considered to be lame ducks, especially in my domicile country back to vibrant and profitable entities again. Not only this but to use my skills to become an entrepreneur to further enhance my experience and also to help and easy extremely high unemployment rate affecting the whole world, especially Africa , Asia and Latin America.

I would like also to open a university that will produce employers as I realized that most graduate are potential employees, but my vision will be to bake potential employers. Despite my humble back ground which saw the better part of my secondary school learning under trees and writing on my lap, I passed ordinary level , also by the grace of God I passed my advanced level.

I was born a leader and that I will be. In Zimbabwe, my country I have seen a lot of once vibrant companies going on their knees and not that they are praying, but that either are closing down or are scaling down operations. All these things gave me the drive to get the right qualifications and then come back and rectify the dire situation.

I will be grateful if someone would be interested in sponsoring me to actualize my dreams. I will definitely by the grace of GOD use my achievements for the betterment of my country.
