Open letter to Mugabe's nephew - 'Your uncle is the most selfish leader the world has ever had'

"Cde Jason Zhuwao" as you would like to call yourself, let me respond to your so called analysis of People First as follows.
Firstly I note you have some unease within your blood about the monster called People First as it shows by your giving it prominence in your nauseating articles. You do not get space in the Sunday Mail by merit as the populace would have expected. Just because you happen to be the nephew of the President gives you the unfair advantage of grabbing space in the national weekly newspaper and it's sad.
Secondly, you are a so called ZANU PF cadre by default and not by resolute dedication. You just happened to be a beneficiary of ZANU PF membership through blood lines of a ZANU PF member in Mugabe. For you ZANU PF is not about the people but about family.
Going to your analysis of the persons aligned to People First, let me respond accordingly.
You try to soil Rugare Gumbo who I shall emphasise that he is more a Cde than you ever will be. Rugare Gumbo is an esteemed cadre of our revolution whose credentials can never be obliterated by the likes of you, who was about 13 years old (or is it your father Patrick, since I don't know who is who between the two of you) at independence in 1980. Gumbo was in the trenches as part of those directing our war with us when your uncle joined us in Mozambique from his prison cell. Gumbo was part of the DARE reChimurenga, and happens to be the only surviving member of DARE.
When your uncle came to join us, he was rejected by ZANLA cadres, who did not trust him at all. Samora Machel vehemently refused to meet your uncle, calling him Smith's appendage, and only the great persuasion of Rex Nhongo( Solomon Mujuru), whose wife you denigrate and the same Gumbo whose name you try to soil, made it possible for him to be accepted both by ZANLA and by Machel. Gumbo, according to us cadres, did not do anything wrong but he tried to make other cadres see the hijacking of our revolution which your uncle was about to do, which they see now. Before your uncle joined us in Mozambique, we had rules prohibiting cadres from amassing wealth at the expense of the people, and we had "Nzira dzema Soja", which was a ten commandment code of conduct.
Taiti "Pasi nezvi Gananda" meaning "Down with wealth accumulators" in the advent of your uncle taking over the reigns(not liked by many veterans), these slogans were abolished and selfishness began to rule. This is one of the reasons both Gumbo and the "Vashandi" group encompassing Cdes Parker Chipoera, Dzinashe Machingura, Chocha(Augustine Chihuri) and others revolted against your uncle. Your uncle(or is it great uncle?) sought the assistance of our esteemed host, Samora Machel to crush the revolts, otherwise he would have been history. So in essence Gumbo was fighting the selfish tendencies your uncle had introduced into our revolution rather than selling out and these are the tendencies of corruption and nepotism that have destroyed ZANU PF. Gumbo and others had the support of many a cadres and would have won were it not for our host's intervention, which Samora died regretting. Rex Nhongo later rued his myopic decision to endorse your uncle and persuade both ZANLA and Machel to accept your uncle. Mugabe is the most selfish leader the world has ever had.
Today as we speak, he is the President, his wife leads the Women's League, and Patrick Zhuwao, his nephew, leads the Youth Wing. How do you justify ZANU PF as a people oriented party when it has become a family affair? It is rich coming from you telling us about being people oriented.
We move on to Cde Mutasa, who again is more Cde than you ever will get, since you address yourself as Cde whose true meaning you will never understand. Mutasa, came to Mozambique and joined us in the fight against Smith and was part of the leadership that then steered us into independence, just like your uncle. You cannot praise Mugabe for revolutionary traits without doing the same to Mutasa, because your uncle did not do much on his own. Mugabe only joined us towards our final days of defeating the enemy.
On Cde Joice Teurai Ropa Mujuru, you are completely off side young man. There is no amount of soiling or denigration that can obliterate her revolutionary credentials and you know it from the bottom of your heart. She is commander par-excellence as far as all real revolutionary cadres are concerned both serving and retired, and we respect and salute her. She was with us in the trenches well before your uncle came to perch himself in the comfort of a Maputo mansion while we experienced matekenya, other diseases and hunger in the camps and we slept in the deep gullies of Zimbabwe's terrain in the frontline. You mention of JTR's corrupt legacy which since her ouster you have failed to substantiate and arrest her. It is folly and myopic of you and your cabal to think that Zimbabweans will continue to believe such unscrupulous allegations which have never been proven. You have also failed to dissect and expose any flaws in BUILD, except for crying foul.
I suggest to you that instead of wasting space in the Sunday Mail, talking about People First, a grouping you claim to be irrelevant, you spend that space telling the people how you intend to revitalise the country's ailing economic, infrastructural, social and political well being that your uncle has destroyed, subjecting the populace to beggars in a country of plenty. Why misuse space talking about a so called still born party if it doesn't look like a deadly threat.
Refocus from your dynastic tendencies and align yourself with the people and you might just have a slight chance to become prominent in the Zimbabwean political sphere, otherwise you are going into oblivion.
Have a good day, I wish I could call you Comrade.
