3:48pm, Mar 9 - +263 7* *** ****: Today my son was expelled from school after I had reported on social media the gross beating up of his Grade 6A class by their teacher at Torwood Primary School in Redcliff.
Over the past few weeks, I had reported on various social media platforms, the abuses that the pupils were being subjected to by their teacher for such offences as not completing 'Corrections', poor hand-writing, and not finishing classwork.
The abuses included being beaten up with a hosepipe, open hands (slapped), and a wooden cooking stick (mugoti) on the head, back of head, buttocks, back, and hands.
Today I received an SMS from the school headmistress that I should collect my son's transfer letter tomorrow, and that he should stop attending school forthwith.
