Zimbabwean star joins Bayern Munich

Zimbabwe's basketball gem, Vitalis Chikoko has been signed by German basketball giants, Bayern Munich.
Chikoko is once again hogging the limelight with the news of the power forward being signed by the German giants from Italian Serie B side, Scaligera Verona.
Hoops for Hope Director, Ngoni Mkhukhula said Chikoko's exploits abroad is an inspiration for budding basketball players from Zimbabwe.
Chikoko returns to a league that first brought him fame after he was scooped by Goettingen from Mbare Heat.
The Zimbabwean rising star also turned out for TBBTrier before he was snapped up by Serie A giants, Pallacanestro Reggiana in the 2014/2015 season.
Zimbabwe's top basketball player would however move to Serie B side, Tenezis Verona but interest from Bayern Munich sees him returning to the Bundesliga.
Chikoko has been snapped up by Bayern Munich together with Chad Toppert who arrives from Reno Bighorns, a team in the NBA D league.
