Zimbabwe U-23 midfielder, Matthew Rusike has expressed optimism that he will make the grade at English Premiership outfit, Bolton Wanderers.

Rusike, who flew out of South Africa for England soon after the Young Warriors' dismal showing against South Africa under 23 on Saturday, is optimistic of impressing Bolton Manager Owen Coyle.

In an interview in Johannesburg, Rusike expressed confidence in his ability to break into a side that has already indicated a desire to add at least six new faces to the current line-up.

Despite the Young Warriors 2-nil defeat to South Africa under 23 in an All-Africa Games qualifier on Saturday, Rusike was among the notable performers in a rather lethargic display by the Friday Phiri coached side.

The St Georges and BN Academy product played for local premiership outfit Monomotapa United Football Club before moving to University of Pretoria, popularly known as Tuskers.

At the end of 2010, Rusike made another move to his current club Jomo Cosmos.
