Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, (19) is apparently set to marry. She is apparently secretly engaged to longtime family friend Nick Gordon, who it was reported she was dating.
22-year-old Nick - who lived with Whitney since he was 12-years-old was known as her 'adopted' son - has popped the question to Bobbi, according to Star magazine.
'Nick proposed to Krissy on March 10, and she said yes,' a family friend told the magazine.
'Krissy said Nick is the only person she trusts in the world. They have a very deep connection.'
The pair live in Whitney's $1.2m Atlanta townhouse. The singer - who died last month - never formally adopted Nick, but took him in several years ago when his father went to prison and his mother was unable to take care of him.
Star says the couple are keeping the news quiet for now - but quotes other sources expressing concern and suspicion at the time of the proposal.
'Everyone is worried that Nick is looking to take advantage of Krissy,' a friend told the publication, referring to the $10m Bobbi is set to inherit from her late mother.
Bobbi and Nick were apparently spotting kissing and holding hands together last Friday outside a Target store in Johns Creek, Georgia, according to Hollywoodlife.com.
Nick added fuel to speculation about their relationship status when he tweeted last week: 'Yea we got a little closer and what!!!'
