Trailblazing Zimbabwean comedian Carl Joshua Ncube has just returned to Zimbabwe after impressing in a long tour of South Africa that saw the Zim funny man perform at 3 out of 4 of the only comedy clubs in Africa namely Cape Town Comedy Club, Goliath Comedy Club, Parkers Comedy Club.
The comedian impressed in his comedy schedule over the last month that saw him headlining in Cape Town, Hosting comedy nights in Johannesburg. According to Ncube, South African comedy scene is a great place for a comedian to grow as there is a huge body of talent and you learn from comedians that have been in the game much longer and travelled the world. "I find that I always grow and my identity as a comedian continues to find its voice" said Carl. These sentiments where echoed by the Goliath Comedy Club who described Carl Joshua Ncube as fresh, original and wonderfully funny! His style is so international yet proudly Zimbabwean!
According to the Cape Town Comedy Club Carl Joshua Ncube is a regular performer at Cape Town Comedy Club, which has just been featured as 1 of the Top 10 comedy clubs in the world. He brings his comical take on his beloved Zimbabwe to our stage each time he plays, and even performed his Guinness World record attempt at our venue recently for the Most Stand Up Comedy Shows in 7 days.
Carl is back in the country concluding last minute fundraising for a tour that see's him performing in France, Germany, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore as he closes what has been nothing short of an amazing year for brand Carl Joshua Ncube who believes that investing in travel is making him grow as a comedian. He has recently announced his intention to tour the USA in 2017.
