A man from the Limpopo area in South Africa has claimed that he is so much in love with his donkeys to a point of dressing them up a development which attracted the attention of some creche students to watch in amazement.
Raymond Selowa was asked to MC at their graduation party and he made sure the kids would remember the special day.
He dressed up his beloved donkeys Mary and Petunia in traditional siSwati cloths with white headwraps.
And then Raymond (20) hitched them to his cart – and off they trotted to the party!
Kids were delighted when they arrived in style on Thursday at the Kheaphole Daycare Centre in Ga-Seaphole Village, Bolobedu outside Tzaneen, Limpopo.
They laughed as they posed for photos with the cool donkeys and enjoyed rides on the cart. Raymond, known to fans as Morayza on Thobela FM's party-time show, advises people about gigs. When he's not busy with media studies at the University of Limpopo, Morayza and his donkeys often add a fun touch to weddings.
With their colourful outfits they're sure to get more attention than guests arriving in pricey cars. I love my donkeys," said Morayza. "They never disappoint me."
Morayza said he's always had a soft spot for the gentle animals as he grew up herding them. He looks after his family's seven donkeys and treats them like brothers and sisters!
"I never hit my donkeys," he said. "If you have animals, treat them as you would a firstborn child.
"I love donkeys with all my heart. My donkeys love to look nice and stand still while I dress them."
There's another good thing about donkeys, said Morayza.
"When you travel with them you don't have to spend a lot of money on petrol. You just have to love, respect and treat them well – and they will look after you!"
