The Brahma Kumaris, a global organisation dedicated to fostering positive change in individuals and society, will host internationally acclaimed South Africa-based medical doctor Dr Raksha Balbadhur as guest speaker at a spiritual event in Bulawayo.
The gathering will take place on Monday next week at the Brahma Kumaris Centre in Suburbs, Bulawayo, and is expected to draw participants from across the city and beyond.
In an invitation extended to stakeholders, the organisation stated:
"Brahma Kumaris offers practical wisdom and meditation practices rooted in Raja Yoga, aiming to help individuals understand themselves as spiritual beings and connect with their inner potential."
The organisation runs various courses promoting positive thinking, stress management, and self-esteem.
Dr Raksha Balbadhur, who has 24 years of medical experience and holds a Master's degree in Palliative Medicine from the University of Cape Town, will headline the event. Her academic work has focused on understanding the dignity experience of patients with advanced disease from a South African perspective.
