Sugar Sugar gets $60,000 mudododo from Chivayo

BUSINESSMAN and philanthropist Wicknell Chivayo has increased the cash reward he pledged to musician Sugar Sugar from US$10 000 to US$40 000 for praising President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Chivayo also offered the musician an additional US$20 000 for promoting Zimbabwe positively.
In a social media post, Chivayo said he was pleased with the feedback he had received from Sugar Sugar, who has been vocal in his praise of Mnangagwa.
He said the US$40 000 would be available for collection in cash and reminded the musician to bring his driver's licence when collecting the money.
Chivayo said he was also prepared to give Sugar Sugar a further US$20 000 for speaking positively about the country.
The latest pledge comes after Chivayo previously rewarded the musician with a new Toyota Fortuner and US$10 000 following the release of his song, "Todya Mudododo."
Chivayo said he had been moved to support Sugar Sugar after learning that the musician did not have a car.
