FILABUSI - A 20-year-old boy from Filabusi in Matabeleland South is urgently seeking financial assistance to undergo a life-saving liver transplant, with a target of US$30,000 needed to cover medical costs.
Nqobizitha Nyoni has been battling a complex combination of chronic liver conditions since birth, including Chronic Liver Disease, Non-Cirrhotic Portal Hypertension, Portal Thrombopathy, and Complicated Splenomegaly. His condition has now reached a critical stage, and a transplant is the only viable option for survival.
In an online crowdfunding campaign launched by Ntando Nyoni, the public is being urged to rally behind Nqobizitha and help him access the treatment he desperately needs.
"Despite his family's tireless efforts and love, they've exhausted their resources and are now turning to the community for help," Ntando said. "Every donation brings Nqobizitha closer to a healthier future."
The campaign emphasizes that contributions will go directly toward medical expenses, including the transplant procedure and post-operative care. Ntando added, "Let's come together to help Nqobizitha beat the odds and live a fuller life. Please donate and share his story."
As of now, the fundraising goal remains at US$30,000. Supporters are encouraged to contribute and spread awareness to help save a young life.
