Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Zimbabwe, Dr Tamer Almassri has condemned systematic and seismic brutal Israeli aggression on Westbank which target to paralyse mobility, supposed development and peace while calling upon international community to impose sanctions immediately in deterring further aggression.
In a statement this Wednesday, Palestine claimed that Netanyahu is trying all means impossible to save his coalition government's deficiencies.
"We strongly condemn the brutal aggression on Westbank through intensified repressive measures, including the erection of numerous checkpoints which now stands at 898, including 16 newly installed iron gates, thereby paralyzing Palestinian mobility and severe connections between its areas which is a systematic denial of Palestinian rights and an attempt by Netanyahu to save his faltering coalition government," Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Zimbabwe, Dr Tamer Almassri said.
"This escalation of violence is a deliberate attempt by Israel to distract the international community from its recent crimes in Gaza and to consolidate its illegal occupation of Palestinian territories. The installation of new iron gates across the West Bank constitutes a further act of collective punishment and a blatant attempt to fragment Palestinian society and impose a full system of apartheid," Tamer Almassri added.
Israeli forces have reportedly launched a deadly war in Jenin and its refugee camps and Tamer Almassri describes that the latest episode of violence violates human rights and international laws.
"This latest act of violence, involving the use of heavy military force, drones, and airstrikes, has resulted in the tragic loss of 10 innocent Palestinian lives, 40 Injured and the destruction of roads surrounding Ibn Sina Hospital," Tamer Almassri said.
"These actions aim to consolidate Israeli control over the occupied territories and undermine any possibility of a just and lasting peace. The international community must not remain silent in the face of these ongoing Israeli crimes," he added.
The state of Palestine called upon international community to condemn unequivocally Israel's aggression against its people and hold Israel accountable for its violations of international law and its crimes against humanity; and Impose immediate and effective sanctions on Israel to deter further aggression.
"The Palestinian people will continue their steadfast struggle against the Israeli occupation and will never relinquish their inalienable right to freedom and self-determination and to an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital," Tamer Almassri added.
