Zanu-PF fears uprising over Dzamara abduction

The ruling Zanu-PF is reportedly trembling with fear following threats by the 83 member Civil Society Organizations to lobby for the dethronement of President Robert Mugabe from both his African Union and SADC chairmanship posts following the alleged abduction of the human and political rights activist Itai Dzamara last week.
Youth empowerment activists and Zanu-PF youth member Fidelis Fengu has pleaded with the organizations to think logically and not emotionally.
"The CSOs need to understand that while Government is responsible for the security of its citizens it is grossly unfair for these organizations to blame the Government for the alleged abduction of Itai Dzamara," said Fengu.
He further said those organizations must explore a possible school of thought to find out who, what and Why the incident happened.
"Who stands to benefit the most from Itai Dzamara's alleged abduction?" asked Fengu.
"The answer is rather clear. Tsvangirai and the CSOs stand to benefit the most from abducting Dzamara. The abduction of Dzamara be it real or imagined has given a new lease of life to the regime change agenda activists and the many Human Rights business persons are making moves to cash in on the heat of the abduction story."
Fengu said the country's biggest human rights business person Morgan Tsvangirai is at it globe trotting seeking sympathy and cheques these do not aide Dzamara's situation in any way, unless if it is a joint venture meant to line the pockets of the nation's human rights business persons.
"What has been gained from Itai Dzamara 's abduction?" asked Fengu.
"Well, if you are foolish enough to subscribe to the school of thought being desperately touted by the rank marshals of regime change that Dzamara was abducted by Zanu-PF or state functionaries then you will not understand that these entities have nothing to gain from abducting Dzamara. Itai Dzamara is in no way real or imagined a threat to national security or the votes of Zanu-PF. Dzamara's pet project dubbed the Occupy Africa Unity Square failed to garner support of at least 100 people."
He said being the case why would an entity with millions of loyal supporters feel threatened by less than a hundred people?
"Only Morgan Tsvangirai and the CSOs have gained a new narrative to make money and entice the donor community to look at them with a fresh pair of eyes," said Fengu.
"We are all aware that a number of CSO leaders have become magicians and have mastered the art of making donor funds disappear. Moving on.
"Why was Itai Dzamara abducted? Well, the so called eye witnesses state that the men who took him accused him of stealing a beast. I am not sure if Zanu-PF or Government would give such an excuse or reason to abduct any one. People that steal are arrested and not abducted."
Fengu said the account given by so called witnesses is really creative and leaves a lot of doubt in the discerning mind.
"The witness claim the number plate of the Isuzu was "blurry" help me understand, what a blurry number plate look likes?" he said.
"My logical conclusion is that maybe Morgan Tsvangirai knows where Itai Dzamara is. Tsvangirai is desperate to prove his relevance. Itai Dzamara is or was also desperate to get attention for his Occupy jokers movement," said Fengu.
"May I submit that we focus our energies on the drought that is staring at us, the economy that needs urgent attention and the many Zimbabweans who need decent jobs, shelter, food, clean running water and reliable electricity supply. These are more important to Amai John the vendor from Mabvuku. How are these 83 member CSOs going to help Amai John?"
He called for Tsvangirai to bring back Itai Dzamara from wherever you put him.
