Arrested Zanu-PF youths released without charge

A group of ZANU PF youths who had been arrested for trying to invade a Zim PF ally's farm in Velvekia Guruve Mashonaland Central were released without charge yesterday. (Thursday)
It is alleged the youths tried to invade Thompson Magunduru's Nowere farm subdivision 3 after Magunduru gave part of his farm to a white farmer Bruce Danken Hood.
The deal between Magunduru and Hood did not auger well with ZANU PF youths who wanted to grab the land and were arrested by 23 uniformed cops two police intelligence accompanied by four dogs only to be ordered to release the culprits by Police Headquarters.
"When we took the culprits to Mvurwi station there came a message from the PGHQ ordering the release of the suspects hence it was not within our power to hold them," said the police.
