MDC-T member Job Sikhala has taken to the internet to explain how the fracas in the Joice Mujuru led Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF) party all started.

According to Sikhala the misunderstanding started when Rugare Gumbo described MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai as "naChamatama" (Zihlathi/big cheeks).

Gumbo and six other ZimPF officials were fired today by Mujuru.

Ooh it now makes sense:

Just few days ago my friend in the People First top leadership was telling me that there was the banging of tables and the throwing of papers allover during their leadership meeting at Madam Mujuru's house. I asked him kuti ko hindava zvakasvika pakudero. He said haaaa handina kumboona Mai Mujuru vakatsamwa saizvozvo since. It was after Rugare Gumbo said in a derogatory manner about my leader Morgan Tsvangirai that " zvekubatana naChamatama hatidi". It is said that Madam Mujuru asked Rugare Gumbo to explain himself as an old person whom the young is looking up to, the meaning of calling Tsvangirai Chamatama.

It is said that Slyvester Nguni joined the fray attacking Gumbo, Didymus Mutasa and other elders of the party for derailing the dreams of the people of Zimbabwe to bury Mugabe once and for all in 2018.

The meeting ended with balls of insults flying allover. I now understand the sacking of Gumbo, Mutasa, Bhasikiti, Makova and Dongo by Madam Mujuru this morning. They still carry their hatred of Tsvangirai from ZANU PF.
