The Meteorological Services Department has projected another cyclone from the east of Madagascar which is likely to affect Zimbabwe mid this month.

Senior meteorologists Mr John Mupuro says indications and projections on the ground are that a tropical cyclone has formed east of Madagascar and is likely to affect Zimbabwe if it enters the Mozambican channel.

The Meteorological Services Department has also projected a wet weekend and less rainfall from Monday for a limited number of days.

Meanwhile, ZINWA public relations manager Mrs Majory Munyonga says the flooding being experienced in some parts of the country have resulted in the damage of ZINWA pumping equipment making it impossible for the authority to provide service.

As such some areas like Chivi, Ngomahuru, Mashava, West Nicholson, Esigodini, Antelope, Tsholotsho, Nkayi and Ntabazinduna are either receiving limited water supplies or receiving no water at all.
