Man in trouble for breaking into Power Sales shop

A man of no fixed abode is in trouble after he allegedly broke into Power Sales Clothing Shop and stealing clothing worth over $700.
Godknows Sibanda (18) was not asked to plead when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya who remanded him in custody to May 15 pending trial.
The court heard that on April 22 this year at 6pm Farirai Welcome Nyika a manager closed the Power Sales Shop in the city before knocking off and secured all doors and windows. During the night Sibanda allegedly went to the shop and broke in through the window. While inside he stole 8 pairs of shoes, 32 pairs of jean trousers, 5 men' shirts, 7 outre hair weaves, 12 ladies pumps and went away.
At 4:30am the following day the matter was discovered when Sibanda was arrested by members of the public who are commuter omnibus drivers when they found him in possession of stolen property. He was then handed over to the police.
The property stolen worth $781, 40 and it was recovered.
