Female rapists irked by case postponement

The defence council of the three suspected female rapists has indicated that it is going to make an urgent application to the High Court seeking the court to compel the State to provide State papers.

Mr. Dumisani Muthombeni told reporters that the defence is irked by the continuous postponement of the matter saying his clients are being prejudiced.

The court postponed the matter to next week after the investigating officers indicated that they are still waiting for medical results from South Africa.

The three suspects Rosemary Chakwizira, Sophie and Netsai Nhokwara are facing charges of aggravated indecent assault.
