There was drama at Ealing farm in Mvurwi where a woman was caught panties down with her husband's friend by her father in-law.
Chief Makope confirmed that Sharon Madzudzo was caught panties down with Godfrey Mlambo in the middle of the night by her father in-law only identified as Mr Mubaiwa.
Mlambo was a best friend to Madzudzo's husband Tatenda Mubaiwa who had gone to work in Buhera as a shopkeeper for a month.
He took advantage of his absence and snatched his wife for the whole month, the father in-law smelt the rat and trapped the lovers whom he found pants down.
However, Mlambo refused to leave his girlfriend's house that night and had all night sex before leaving the following day.
The culprit fled from the farm to Guruve the following day and Chief Makope had to sentence him in absentia.
He was slapped with three bovines as ransom for his shenanigans and the wife begged for forgiveness to her husband which he accepted and took her back.
Meanwhile, Chief Makope said he does not condone the sharing of women in his area of jurisdiction hence anyone found wanting will be judged ruthlessly.
"I do not condone sharing of women in my area because in most cases the end result is loss of life hence anyone found wanting should be judged harshly," said Chief Makope.
