Opposition MDC Alliance supporters and leadership have reportedly blamed Chief Negomo for allegedly sabotaging their Mashonaland Central Star rally by calling sixteen village heads for a meeting on Sunday (today).
According to Mazowe Central MDC chairman Martin Muchemwa traditional leaders who are supposed to apolitical are at the fore front in sabotaging opposition parties.
"We are being sabotaged by traditional leaders, chief among them Chief Negomo and his village heads.
He knows we are conducting a cleared rally by the police but he goes on to summon 16 village head on a dip tank issue that is not fair," lamented Muchemwa.
Other supporters doubted if the so called free and fair election exist basing on the behaviour of some traditional leaders.
Meanwhile, Mashonaland Central is the strong hold of ZANUPF basing on the previous election where they scooped most votes from ward level to presidium.
The province is also known for massive intimidation and serious violence which in some instances ended fatal.
