Unemployed teaching graduates have accused Zimbabwean President Emmesron Mnangagwa of neglecting them.
The teachers made the remarks during a demonstration held on Friday.
Progressive Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (PTUZ) secretary Raymond Majongwe said the reluctancy by Mnangagwa to meet educators is proof enough to show that he doesn't care about education.
"He has met with almost everyone, from prophets, youths and business people and addressed grievances tabled by other civil servants but has not bothered to make time for teaching graduates.
Majongwe claimed Mnangagwa has even met witch doctors, thieves and is preparing to meet lesbians, homosexuals and transgenders.
He implored Zimbabweans to desist from celebrating promises but wait for real delivery.
"The tragedy we have is of celebrating what Mnangagwa is saying when we are seeing no practical work from him. Teachers, in schools are understaffed, they are overloaded with work yet we have thousands of unemployed teaching graduates who are turning to vending for a living," said Majongwe.
