Norton
legislator Temba P. Mliswa has pleaded with Finance and Economic
Development minister Mthuli Ncube to understand that the legislators and
ministers really need cars for them to be able to executive their
duties.
The remarks come after Ncube recently suspended the allocation of cars to the MPs and ministers to cut government expenditure.
"1/ Regarding cars for GovtMinisters&MPs, it's important for @MthuliNcube to understand that cars are a critical resource for enabling MPs to work in their constituencies. As ZANUPF MPs were given cars during campaigning, stagger disbursement&give cars to opposition first," Mliswa tweeted.
