Temba Mliswa brings Prof. Lumumba to Norton

Norton Member of parliament Temba Mliswa through his organization Youth Advocacy for Reform and Democracy  (YARD) will be hosting the famed philosopher and Founder of PLO Lumumba Foundation Professor Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba in Norton.

Lumumba will be part of the speaker at a YARD Youth Indaba dubbed Reviving the Spirit of the Nations.

Professor Lumumba is the Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya School of Law and an Advocate of the High Courts of Kenya and Tanzania. Know as the most eloquent lawyer in Kenya, he is a professor of Public Law and Founding Dean at Kabarak University School of Law.

In 2018 Lumumba was denied entry at the Kenneth Kaunda International airport in Lusaka,Zambia before being deported back to Kenya.

Lumumba was billed to offer a talk  entitled "Africa in the age of China influence and global geo dynamics"

Other speakers at the YARD Youth Indaba include Deputy Minister Vangelis Haritatos,Dr Shingi Munyeza and Deputy Minister Polite Kambamure.

Entrance to the event which will be held on Pakare Pare on the 8th-9th of February is $200 for YARD members and $250 for non members.

Topics for discussion include command housing, command agriculture and opportunities for Youth in mining.
