Tsvangirai's wife on government sponsored shopping spree

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai's new wife, Elizaberth Macheka is said to be on a week-long government sponsored shopping spree to South Africa and India.
Reports say Macheka left Harare on Thursday to buy "jewellery" for the September wedding.
It is said that Tsvangirai applied for the money from Treasury indicating that his wife is "on Honourable Prime Minister's duties".
"The PM's spouse and a lady officer in Tsvangirai's office (Ms Mary Mungweni) has left the country today (yesterday) for South Africa and are proceeding to India" a sources is quoted saying.
Macheka is expected to return on July 12 and later fly out to Japan and Australian with Tsvangirai and his daughter, Rumbidzai.
"The Prime minister is leaving for Japan on July 15 and will stay there for six days. He is expected to leave Japan on 21 July for Australia where he will stay up to 27 July".
