Swimming fisherman drowns

A Bindura fisherman who tried to swim across Chinhenga farm, dam in Bindura drowned on Tuesday.
The now deceased John Makaza (16) was in the company of his friend Progress Kano (23).
Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe confirmed the case.
It is reported that the swimming Makaza got tired while on the middle of the dam and he drowned.
Kano then informed other residents of the incident who managed to retrieve the body.
Police said fish mongers should not attempt to fish while in the water or use inflated tubes.
