Giraffe poacher nabbed

A suspected giraffe poacher Remember Mereki (32) was arrested in Bindura on Wednesday after he was caught by security guards at a farm trying to kill a giraffe.
The two security guards Takudzwa Mungeredzi and Abraham Mungava laid an arm bush after they discovered a snare put by the suspect at Zindele farm.
Mereki was seen making a follow up on his snare where he had caught a giraffe and they arrested him before surrendering him to the police.
Acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Naison Dhliwayo confirmed the case and discouraged people from poaching.
