Prison escapees nabbed after stealing motorbike

TWO inmates, who escaped from Guruve prison have been re-arrested after they stole a motorbike from a local resident.
Acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Naison Dhliwayo confirmed that Lyton Musengu and Jealous Gweshe (28) were back in custody.
"We are investigating a robbery case in Guruve where two convicts, who escaped from Guruve Prison robbed Ruzvidzo Bekiwa of Nyakapupu Village of his motorbike," Dhliwayo said.
"It is alleged that the duo purported to be asking for directions from Bekiwa, who was riding his bike.
"They pulled a sharp metal object which they used to strike him before robbing him of his bike.
Police arrested them days after the robbery.
