Woman on the run after stabbing rival

Police in Kwekwe are investigating a murder case in which a 22 year old woman was fatally stabbed by a rival while allegedly fighting over a man.
The police are also keen to interview the man who also vanished from the scene together with the suspect woman soon after the incident.
Police close to the incident which occurred on New Year's Eve said Yeukai Muzadzi (22) was at Mutegude Shopping Centre in Rutendo Redcliff when she was involved in an altercation with another woman.
"The two started fighting and Muzadzi collapsed and started bleeding profusely" said the police source.
He said an unidentified man who was present when the incident occurred vanished from the scene together with the suspect woman.
Midlands provincial police spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said police who attended to the scene discovered that Muzadzi had been stabbed several times in the stomach and some of her intestines were protruding. "She was rushed to Kwekwe District hospital where she was pronounced dead on admission. He said police have launched a manhunt for the two suspects.
"We are appealing to members of the public with information that can help to identify and locate the two, a lady and a man, involved in the incident," he said.
