Zanu-PF councillor goes AWOL

The only ZANU PF councillor in Mvurwi Ward 5 Campion Mugweni has gone awol.
Mugweni who was anticipating to become Mvurwi Chairperson if ZANU-PF had won majority seats is a disappointed person after his move hit the brick wall.
After losing the Member of Parliament seat he opted for ward which he has failed to run dispite the early stages of his work.
Residents from his ward feel betrayed as he is not there for them.
"We were robbed of our vote by Mugweni he is never in the ward when we need him," lamented Tafadzwa Gwenzi.
Some residents complained that he is not helping in the fight against cholera which some councillors are working with various stakeholders to stop the disease.
"Some councillors are working with various stakeholders in the fight against Cholera but ours is nowhere to be seen he sends representatives but we want to see him because we voted for him," added. Lucia Majore.
It is further alleged that Mugweni snubbed President Emmerson Mnangagwa's high level interaction with local authorities in Harare last week.
Contacted for comment Mugweni said he is sick.
"I am not well boss, that is why I am missing," Mugweni said.
However, Mugweni is not new to controversy when he was the then Mazowe North legislator he was missing in his constituency only to resurface during elections.
