POSB partners with Zimnat

People's Own Savings Bank (POSB) has entered a strategic partnership with Zimnat General Insurance to offer a wide range of bancassurance services, enhancing its service offerings and providing customers with convenient access to essential insurance products.

Through this collaboration, POSB now provides various insurance services underwritten by Zimnat, including motor vehicle insurance options such as third-party and comprehensive covers. Customers can conveniently pay for their Zimnat motor vehicle insurance premiums, renew their ZINARA (Zimbabwe National Road Administration) fees, and settle ZBC (Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation) radio licence payments through POSB branches and online platforms.

A key feature of the partnership is the introduction of a Hospital Cash Plan, which offers daily cash benefits to customers who are hospitalized. This service is designed to help alleviate the financial burdens associated with hospitalization by covering incidental expenses, ensuring that customers can focus on their recovery without the added stress of medical costs.

POSB Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Garainashe Changunda, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration. "This partnership with Zimnat General Insurance allows us to provide convenient and accessible insurance solutions, ensuring our customers can manage their financial needs under one roof," he said. The partnership also includes plans to expand their bancassurance offerings, with new insurance services currently being developed to provide customers with more comprehensive financial solutions.
