Police officer up for stock theft

A Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) officer stationed at Plumtree is in soup after he allegedly connived with another villager to steal and sell a bull.
The cop Humphrey Mugadya (38) together with his accomplice Grant Ncube (44) appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware yesterday.
Nembaware remanded the duo in custody to June 12.
The state alleged on May 29,Ncube stole a bull at Mlowe village grazing lands in Plumtree and informed Mugadya.
Mugadya looked for a buyer and Bekhemuzi Mpofu who bought the bull for $560.
The bull was slaughtered and loaded in a Nissan X trail registration number AEN 8140 and was transported to his butchery.
The cop used details of Moyo Zuzephi (85) to compete the form 392 part D.
Police received an anonymous tip off and arrested the duo.
