Hubby up for raping ex-wife at knife point

An enstranged husband who breached a court order and raped his ex-wife at knife point has appeared before a Harare magistrate.
Tambaoga Kanodzimira was ordered by a Harare Civil Court last November to refrain from abusing his ex-wife and not to visit her place of residence.
Kanodzimira however, allegedly demanded sex from the woman before spending the night raping her. The 34-year-old man is facing three counts of rape.
It is alleged earlier this month, Kanodzimira went to the woman's house, where he smashed the door to gain entry.
Kanodzimira allegedly demanded to have sex with the woman but she refused.
According to state papers, Kanodzimira produced a knife and threatened to kill the woman if she refused to have sex with him.
He allegedly grabbed the woman and laid her on the bed before raping her three times during the night.
According to state papers, the woman fought back but was overpowered.
After the acts, Kanodzimira put on his clothes and left to an unknown place.
The woman later filed a police report leading to Kanodzimira's arrest.
Magistrate Mahwe remanded him in custody to February 2.
