Man wakes up to find pal sodomising him after failed night out

A night of beers turned into a nightmare for a 22-year-old man who alleges that his drinking companion violated him while he slept.
Khumbulani Gatsheni, 46, appeared before magistrate Mrs. Sibongile Marondedze facing shocking charges of sodomy. The incident reportedly took place on May 15, 2025.
According to prosecutor Christina Manyika, the two men had been drinking together when their plans to go out fell through. Gatsheni suggested that they spend the night at his place, where the alleged assault occurred.
The victim told the court that he woke up in pain and confusion, stark naked, with Gatsheni's manhood inside him. Gatsheni allegedly gripped the complainant's private parts and even squeezed them when the man tried to resist.
Following the traumatic ordeal, the victim reported the incident, leading to Gatsheni's arrest. The matter has been postponed to June 16, 2025, for further trial.
