In a statement, police confirmed that a team has been dispatched to conduct comprehensive investigations into the incident, which has sparked public outrage on social media.
The disturbing footage, widely shared online, depicts two boys in school uniforms attacking a girl, also in uniform, in a bushy area. During the assault, the boys can be heard referring to themselves as "mauto."
The video has drawn widespread condemnation from members of the public, who have called for swift action against the perpetrators.
