The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has bolstered its road safety efforts with the release of three additional rebranded Ford Everest vehicles for national patrol duties, Commissioner-General Stephen Mutamba announced.

This latest deployment brings the total number of vehicles in the National Highway Patrol fleet to nine. Authorities have confirmed that more patrol vehicles will be introduced in the coming days to further strengthen traffic management and curb criminal activities across the country.

The ZRP has urged the public to cooperate with officers and remain vigilant on the roads, emphasizing that the expanded patrol presence is part of ongoing measures to reduce road accidents and ensure public safety during the busy festive season.
