Stepmom kills toddler as he relieves himself

Police have arrested an 18-year-old woman in connection with the death of her three-year-old stepson in Madzura Village, Gokwe.
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed that Sharai Foromani was taken into custody on 13 February.
According to police, the suspect allegedly followed the toddler into a bush behind their homestead where he had gone to relieve himself. She is accused of strangling the child. The motive for the alleged killing is still unknown.
The child's body was taken to Gokwe Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination as investigations continue.
