School loses 27 laptops to thieves

Police have launched a manhunt for suspected thieves who broke into a primary school in Chivhu and stole 27 laptops from the institution's computer laboratory.

The incident reportedly occurred between February 20 and February 25, 2026.

National police spokesperson Paul Nyathi confirmed the case and appealed to members of the public for assistance.

"Police in Chivhu are appealing for information which may assist in the investigation of a case of unlawful entry into premises and theft which occurred between February 20, 2026 and February 25, 2026, at a primary school," he said.

According to police, unknown suspects broke into the school's computer laboratory and stole 27 laptops.

Authorities have urged anyone with information that may assist in the investigation to report to the nearest police station.
