President Emmerson Mnangagwa has said Zanu-PF is a party of discipline and order that will not tolerate selfish individuals advancing personal agendas.

Speaking at the 130th Ordinary Session of the Zanu-PF Central Committee in Harare, the President urged leaders to remain vigilant, uphold unity and avoid complacency.

"We are a party of order and rules which must be adhered to at all times. The party has no room for malcontents and traitors advancing self-seeking behaviours," he said, adding that loyalty and ideological discipline were essential.

President Mnangagwa called for unity of purpose, warning against division and ideological drift, and stressed that leaders must remain committed to the party's revolutionary values.

He said recent by-election victories demonstrated continued public confidence in Zanu-PF, attributing the wins to grassroots mobilisation and pro-people policies.

On the economy, he praised progress in value addition, infrastructure rehabilitation and agriculture, noting expectations of a strong harvest and ongoing repairs to damaged roads and bridges.

The President said the Central Committee meeting provided an opportunity to align party programmes with national development goals under the National Development Strategy and Vision 2030.

He also urged stronger mobilisation, productivity and patriotism, while emphasising the need for regular committee meetings to improve policy coordination, accountability and internal democracy.

Mnangagwa concluded by calling for unity and collective responsibility, saying national development must be driven by citizens working together to achieve an upper-middle-income economy by 2030.
