Dynamos hit by fresh executive turmoil

Faded Mbare giants Dynamos Football Club are facing renewed instability, with further executive changes expected following the resignation of two senior officials earlier this week.

Club treasurer Justice Mubayi and long-serving committee member David Chikomo reportedly tendered their resignations on Monday morning, deepening concerns over internal divisions within the organisation.

Sources close to the developments indicate that vice-chairman Spencer Chihota and committee member Bartson Nkhoma may also be set to leave, either through resignation or possible removal, although this has not been officially confirmed by the club.

The shake-up is understood to follow growing tensions within the executive over the signing of the Africabet sponsorship deal, which has reportedly caused disagreements among board members regarding its terms and approval process.

While the club has yet to issue a formal statement on the latest developments, insiders suggest that the leadership dispute has created significant friction within one of Zimbabwe's most followed football institutions.

Dynamos, one of the country's most decorated clubs, have in recent years struggled both on and off the pitch, with administrative instability now adding to their on-field challenges.

More developments are expected as the situation unfolds.
