Zimbabwe Cricket has confirmed that Zimbabwe will host India for a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series at Harare Sports Club in July.
The matches are scheduled for July 23, 25 and 26, with all fixtures set to begin at 1PM local time.
The two sides last met during the Super Eight stage of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 in Chennai on February 26. India's previous tour of Zimbabwe came in July 2024, when the teams played a five-match T20I series that attracted significant interest.
The upcoming series follows Zimbabwe's impressive campaign at the 2026 T20 World Cup, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, where they advanced to the Super Eight stage after topping a competitive group that included Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland and Oman without losing a match.
ZC managing director Givemore Makoni said hosting India presents a valuable opportunity for the team.
"Matches against India always generate enormous interest and this is a fantastic opportunity for our players to test themselves against the world champions on home soil," he said.
"Following our encouraging performances at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, this series gives us a strong platform to build momentum and continue growing as a competitive force in international cricket."
Meanwhile, ZC also confirmed that Zimbabwe will tour India in January 2027 for a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series - their first bilateral tour of India since March 2002.
The matches are scheduled for January 3 at Eden Gardens, January 6 at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium and January 9 at Wankhede Stadium.
Makoni described the tour as a landmark moment.
"It is a landmark moment for Zimbabwe to be touring India again for a bilateral ODI series after more than two decades," he said, adding that the tour would strengthen ties between the two cricketing nations while providing valuable exposure for Zimbabwe's players.
