Armed robbers hit Bulawayo Jet store

Suspected armed robbers raided a Jet Store in Bulawayo's central business district on Wednesday morning, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash after targeting a financial services outlet operating inside the shop.
The robbery occurred at around 9:30 a.m. at the store located on the corner of 9th Avenue and Fort Street.
According to witnesses, three armed men entered the premises before stealing an undisclosed amount of money from the financial services outlet and fleeing the scene.
An armed response team from Safeguard Security and an armed Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) officer attended the scene shortly after the robbery and cordoned off the area while investigators carried out preliminary investigations.
Police had not yet issued an official statement on the incident at the time of publication.
Investigations are ongoing, and more details are expected to be released as they become available.
