Tshuma back in Johannesburg court over UK murder extradition

Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, the British citizen of Zimbabwean heritage accused of murdering his wife and their two daughters in the United Kingdom, is back before the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court.
Tshuma is facing three counts of murder in connection with the deaths of his wife, Zandile, and their two daughters, Natalie and Nala, whose bodies were discovered in Great Denham, near Bedford in England.
The 39-year-old is wanted by British authorities and is currently being held in South Africa as authorities work through the extradition process.
Thursday's proceedings are expected to focus on the progress of local investigations and provide an update on the formal extradition request from the UK.
Tshuma is also facing a separate charge in South Africa relating to the alleged possession of an illegal firearm.
